Risk Management: Phase III

In Phase III, our healthcare risk management consultants will be focusing on high-risk areas chosen based on the frequency and severity of claims. The Emergency Department will be the first area to be examined, followed by Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, and Behavioral Health. Our consultants will evaluate and assess each department’s programs using risk management tools specifically designed for each high-risk area. The assessment will include interviewing staff, physician and nursing administration, plus reviewing policies, procedures, best practices, and medical records.

The Emergency Department focus surveys are scheduled to begin in July/August.
