Claim Review: Allegations & Damages

The decedent patient was survived by her husband and two sons.  Survivors initiated suit against the Internist and the Cardiology Group alleging had the patient’s infection been treated in a timely manner, the patient would not have died. They asserted damages due to loss of companionship, loss of household services, and loss of guidance and help.
